Hancock's Spring & Summer Food Plot Blend ~ Our blend offers 3 high quality legumes to bring in the deer when native browse has become tough and low in nutrition. The sorghum and millet help protect the legume seedlings from over browse. After the iron clay peas, aeschynomene and alyce clover are established, deer will utilize their tender buds until the first hard frost. Depending on your food plot location, this mix can still be drawing deer well into hunting season.
Plant 25 - 50 lbs. per acre any time after last frost of the spring up to the end of September. Our blend will provide nutrition throughout the spring and summer into the fall until the first hard frost. In most locations our spring and summer mix will continue to feed your deer heard into the first part of hunting season.
